Vagal syncope : fluoxetine (prozac) or heart disease? + ECG's conclusion meaning?

Hello, I had a pretty quick and light "vagal syncope" last weekend, it lasted a few minutes. The day after, I called a doctor and two pharmacists to ask them if it was related to the Fluoxetine- Prozac that I take ; the doctor and the 1st pharmacist told me it's possible, the 2nd pharmacist said "i don't think so" . Then, today, I went to see my general practitioner who told me rather no for Fluoxetine as the cause of the syncope. I asked him if it was related to my heart because I have "extrasystoles" and negative QT (i already had 2 ECG last year that have showen this). He checked by doing an ECG. As a conclusion, I have 3 cardiac anomalies: 1. Sinus arrhythmia, 2. Form of RSR, 3. negative t wave. As the general appointments are short, i didn't understand everything.

I tried to understand on my own on the internet but I don't understand anything. Lol, i thank you if you can explain to me!

Ps : i'm only 27 and i already had 3 of theses "syncopes" the last 10 years but every time in different situations. The only common point before these 3 syncopes that i found out, it is a huge emotion. Pps : sorry for the mistakes i'm not English

Thank you!

Interpreting ECGs is a non-trivial exercise particularly when there are a number of anomalies. I think a good starting point would be to ring the BHF nurses later today as I suspect they will be better able to interpret the results than most GPs without a specific interest in cardiology. Good luck.

Hi Natsu. I do wonder if some clear professional advice would help you?

The nurses on the Heart Helpline team here, at BHF (on 0300 330 3311 Mon-Fri 9-5pm or email hearthelpline@bhf.org.uk) are very helpful. Why not try contacting them?
