Anomaly in ECG

Hello, after suffering from shortness of breath for almost a year now and being diagnosed with low iron (put on iron tablets), I still don't feel right. Some symptoms have improved (muscle ache, pale face) but some symptoms have persisted (shortness of breath) and I also got a couple of new ones (hair loss, palpitations on occasion). After a strange episode where I suddenly was overcome with lightheadedness, bad shortness of breath and a cold sweat, I was told to go to a&e for an ECG, bloods and chest x-ray to ensure everything was ok with heart and lungs. First ECG revealed an "anomaly" so they ran it again (twice in fact) and they said that it was ok so think first ECG was due to some anxiety as my heart rate was up. X-ray ok. Bloods also didn't reveal any clots or proteins (ie no heart issue). So I'm none the wiser about what's going on. But I am curious to know whether the first ECG is something to still be concerned about if subsequent two were ok? Any advice would be gratefully received.

Have you been checked for B12 deficiency and Thyroid Disease ?

There could be many reasons for your symptoms but these can both cause the symptoms you describe.

Maybe worth asking GP to check as they just need to do a blood test

Couldn’t agree more with ellj , I have thyroid problems and I get short of breath and hair loss.

My B12 is also low

I’m not a doctor so please get it checked

Take care

Thank you for your reply. I did have thyroid and b12 checked before and they're normal. But that was taken in Feb. I wonder if issues could develop on that front since then.
