I understand that the British heart Foundation is developing an at-home version of Cardio Rehab.
The majority of us who experienced Cardio Rehab courses before lockdown generally have very positive memories of the experience, so this initiative by the BHF sounds like a tremendous idea. I thought it deserved more publicity, so for anyone who is interested, you'll find more information in due course here,
Thank you for posting this. Ive done a few of the BHS exercise videos but not seen this - i will be giving it a go 👍🏼 Really miss my class it was so good/supportive.
East Cheshire NHS on u tube has kept me going throughout lockdown and it’s really good. I find primarily it has helped my shoulder tension especially and in fact all body tension
I'm very glad to hear that, I didn't get any rehab and I can't help thinking, if I had it may have helped me progress a lot quicker.
Great link, thank-you! I have it bookmarked now and will be using the hub, thank-you again!
I ordered the DVD early on, as soon as it was available and found it very helpful but this hub link is 'everything in one place' and is very helpful to have on the favourites bar.
I do miss my cardio rehab classes. I've been doing the BHF Level 3 class off and on for a while, particularly when it's raining and I can't get out for a walk.
Thats brilliant. My cardiac rehab team are doing zoom sessions once weekly for now, but hoping to get another one started if enough interested. Im enjoying it.
I really hope this will cover something for those who are disabled and/or wheelchair users. After my HA I was totally refused rehab by the local team; something I desperately needed as I get very little exercise anyway and more than anything I needed to have supported rehab for my confidence. After 18 months I found a group who did exercise groups but they were not cardio trained.
