With apology i m writing in short because my condition is so bad. For my disease history please read my previous post.
I m feel my heart is so weak. Cardiologist suggest me walk. I continue walk but it making my heart so weak. I walk very slow. I feel coldness in my chest and heart. Some time pain in heart.
One cardiologist ask me for thalium scan. I want to know if in thalium result become positive. For example it shows my heart muscles are so weak or heart muscles taking poor blood supply.
Then is there any treatment to make it correct. Or doctor just check it and then say no treatment for this. Or is there any treatment available for this. Please give me your opinion.
Thanks

Last time we were talking about starting with some simple tests like an exercise ECG and an echocardiogram. Have you had these? Also have you done anything to address your health anxiety?
Sir my echocardiogram is normal. Exercise ecg like trademill test, actually here cardiac hospital are closed due to crona. They only treat emergency. When they see me i can stand on my foot they dont consider me heart patient. As for tteatment for health anxiety. I m conected with psychotherapist fir two weeks. She listen me. Every day she give me 45 mints. In first week she listen. Second week she also lusten and give me suggestions. But u know they charge me every day. Today i said her good bye because i m out of money to continue my theraphy. She said you need long treatment because u have very......in brain. Mean u have many different thoughts in your mind. From last two days i was not feeling easy when i sitting before her because i have heart discomfort. Sir what i do . Dont know .... i have not life in legs. Feel very weak legs also. What i do.
Hi glad ur ecg normal try not to keep worrying u will mk uself worse due to the virus many of us have treatment delayed try reading things u enjoy til u get to see a gp
I am puzzled as you cannot have a stress ECG because of CovID limiting what is on offer but then talk about having Thallium Scan. Did you investigate CBT as recommended at all?
Sir dr suggest me for nuclear test but they r not doing also this test because of crone. Some private clanic doing this but i dont trust them because they dont have emergency backup .
If your heart is ok on the tests that are done could there be some other cause for the feeling of weakness that you have? Is your diet missing some important vitamins or minerals and as a result your body is not able to function properly?
Yes jane. I dont say bad to my country i love my country. But here drs dont take too much serious. My family also saying when u become on bed then may be they become serious.
If i eat enough my heart also not feel easy. So my body has problem. I m angry on this point that i m telling this from 5 year to doctors that my heart is going weak but they r not becoming serious. Thsnks for your reply jane. Wish you people will my doctors.
Are you vegetarian or vegan in what you eat? If you are you may be short of nutrients like iron and vitamin B12. Not having enough of these in your diet will make you weak and have no energy to do anything.
I dont eat meat much. Eay simple food. Today i was waking 3 hour ago. Then my heart downing sinking discomfort. Now i m in hospital emergency. My ecg become wrong.
A good point Jane. A friend's wife became seriously ill when she became vegan as great care is needed to avoid the deficiencies you mention and others. For myself I believe in a Mediterranean diet although mine in a low carb variant because of diabetes.
My hubby has T2 diabetes which was diagnosed after his first heart attack. He was prescribed metformin to help control it. He was also prescribed aspirin which affected his stomach causing dreadful ‘burning sensations’ so he was also prescribed omeprazole. Both medications prevent the extraction and absorption of B12. He is now vitamin B12 deficient and needs injections to restore his b12 and hopefully repair some of the damage it has caused. It is possible his 2nd HA and stroke were precipitated by the deficiency and also the dementia-like symptoms he displayed for a couple of years. Although our bodies only require a minute amount, a lack of it can have dreadful consequences.
Thanks for your post. I have a Nuclear cardiology scan every two years. It shows the kind of perfusion you’re getting in your arteries and can be a help and predicting whether or not you need open-heart surgery of course. It also tells you what your ejection fraction is. Your ejection fraction is how hard your heart pushes blood out to the extremities...... it’s an important factor. As we get older and less exercise our ejection fraction can get worse causing more heart difficulties. they are using a new nuclear scan that allows you just to wiggle your legs instead of walking faster running. My ejection fraction is 43 and normal for a 77-year-old man is probably between 55 and 60. I’m told the only way that I can increase that is through exercise. I don’t like to exercise but I forced myself to exercise at least once a day in someway or form it’s almost always walking. With COPD as well I really don’t feel much like exercising. If your cardiologist is suggesting you exercise I would suggest you get the scan To see what your heart looks like and then start an exercise program. You might even ask if you could do cardiac rehab if it’s available in your area. I’ve done cardiac rehab twice and it is helpful in taking away your fear of exercise in because your monitor it all the time. After you feel confident and you can go off on your own. Don’t know if that helps but that’s just my experience with 33 years of Heart disease.
Thank you very much sir. I appriciate your advise. I m now in hospital emergency .because i walk and my chest become discomfort. Dr did my ecg but that came back ubnormal. Strange condition i have.
