I aleeady post here about my condition. I m feeling my heart getting so weaker. I cannot walk can not bath and can not eat. I cannot walk or do exercise because when i do little work my heart closing. Like stopping. My breath cut out. So like my heart is not supplying proper oxygen mixed blood. Now some dr say me about stress test ETT on treadmill but i cannot walk so how its not pissible i run on it. Second option is nuclear scan of heart. I m afraid of it. Because they put medicine by injection in my heart to heavy my heart. I feel my heart is so weak it can not bear any presure of medicine. Angio graphy dont 45 days ago. So please suggest me what i do. If i denied then how dr find out my disease. But i m afraid that in test may be my heart fail. Because it cannot bear the stress of two steps i walk. How it bear heavy injection.

Hello. I would speak to your doctor about your concerns. The exercise stress test you can stop if you cannot continue and they will stop the test if they have enough information or they feel it is unsafe to continue. It is a very common test to assess symptoms and the heart. Have faith they know what they are doing they would not send you for tests they considered unsafe. If you have symptoms make sure your GP is aware and the technicians at the tests are very reassuring, just be honest and say how you feel when you are there 🙂 Best to get investigations done but certainly express your worries. I dont undeestand what u want to say. Actually my heart is so weak. I canmoy lift any little weight so doctors suggest tor tread mill test. But i cannot run on it. And if i dont complete that test they write in result fatigue. Altenate is nuclear test. I m asking about fluid that inject to race or heavy our heart. I m afraid of it. But to see blood flow in my heart its neccery . What i fo.
QasimRaza, you will need to have tests done so that the medical teams are able to find out what is wrong with your heart. The technicians that carry out these tests know what they are doing and will monitor you and your heart to give them information on your heart and it’s ability to work. Without the information from these tests they will be unable to do anything to help you as they do not have ‘magic eyes’ to see what is happening.
The treadmill will start slowly and build up to allow your heart to show how it works when it needs to. It will be stopped when your heart is becoming stressed. You will be with experts who will care for you. You may even be surprised at what your heart can manage when you push it!
Your anxiety is undoubtedly making your situation much worse as stress and anxiety have a bad effect on the heart and it’s workings.
The heart is a muscle and if it is not kept fit like other muscles it becomes weak and does not function properly.

My problem is this when i do little work and then take rest my heart feel so much difficulty to become its normal place. Before some years i done 3 time treadmil test in 7 years. But i can not run or walk more than 4 mint. Doctor said u did not complete test. 50 days ago dr did my angio graphy because i m visiting hospital emergency almost every second day. 3 arteries blocked 30 to 40 percent snd medicine treatment suggested. I also asked that dr for on follow on visit 15 days ago for thalium scan. He said no need. I dont want to put u in other things. He is one of the biggest famous cardiologist in Pakistan.
One bad thing is here that dr dont listen patient in detail here although no doubt about their experience. They give only 1 to 5 mint to patient.
Some local doctors who r new they listen detail. But they said u see to big dr so our experience is nothing before them.
Some dr said donot do unnecessery test. Some said if you want your satisifaction then u go on.
But you know health or body or heart is not joke. I am afraid that alot of test run on heart it became death or weak.
But other side you r saying right that for diagonose a disease you need a test. No magic eyes. I agree.
Today i m going to another dr he is much experienced. But he is not cardiologist. So lets see what happend.

The nuclear test is perfectly safe. If there are any problems hey have a drug they can give immediately to reverse the effects. They do thousands of those tests on people far worse than you. I can't do a stress test because I am disabled and I had the same worries as you about a nuclear test until the doctor explained it to me. You must also get control of your anxiety because the less you do the worse you will feel. The heart is a muscle which needs exercise. Your anxiety is preventing you from doing anything.
Hi, i had that test done a month ago, i dident feel the contrast, and it dident change my heart beat. I must say that the machine can be a little overwhelming, so i closed my eyes and emagined i was somewhere else. Its important to do the breathing test as they tell you so they can see the problem. The next 2 days i was in bed so tired but it got better.
Here i concern with many doctors sone said u do for test some said its anxiety. Now i m going again to dr. Unfortunatily i hv no any friend. I m researching.
Now my condition is so bad.

I have mentioned the Exercise ECG many times to you. As I have said the test is stopped when your heart shows signs of distress. This happened to a friend of mine and he had a successful triple bypass five days later. The nuclear scan has to use medication to stress your heart as the equipment would not allow the use of an exercise bike or similar. It is an excellent test which can show if the issue is the blood supply to the heart (narrowed coronary arteries) or damage to the heart muscle itself. This could be a highly appropriate test for yourself.
In the meantime have you looked into counselling or therapy (e.g. CBT) to address your health anxiety issues.
