I'm almost 9 weeks in from having a stent fitted and am on aspirin and clopidogrel.
I'm having a number of issues, one is the more common muscle pain. I've had it in my chest, and for the last few days it's been in my lower back and groin.
I've tried ticagrelor as an alternative but I was not able to tolerate it. Does anyone know if massage is safe to try and ease the muscle pain, or is it likely to do more harm than good?
Hi Supafil . I’ve been struggling also with back pain (lower right hand side) since my MI last year, since then I’m now also under a chronic pain consultant who has recommended a TENS machine to help with the pain I’m experiencing, not saying this is for you but maybe something you can discuss further with your heart team as maybe a way forward to help you & is a fairly cheap alternative instead of adding yet more forms of medication (tablets) to the already endless we all seem to have to consume on a daily basis
