MRI stress test

I may have just put this on my personal post as I cannot believe I’ve got my stress MRI this Friday, cannot believe it as only a couple of days ago I was told it was going to be months expect to wait a very long time, now hey presto I have an appointment, so pleased it’s finally getting done but pretty worried about the part they make your heart race and how my heart will react to it.

Stop moaning fluffybee and be grateful 🙄

Sorry I have done it twice 🥴🥴

You’ll be fine, it’s the gold standard of heart testing in my view. The information gathered by the test is invaluable in treatment pathways 🙂 good luck FB

Delighted you have your appointment. Good luck!

I do not know your circumstances but would suggest you do not drive yourself to the appointment. The combination of the dye with the drug to stress your heart (usually Dobutamine) can leave you feeling a little drained and headachey. It does though vary from person to person.

Great news Fluffybee

I have had 3 cardiac MRIs and they are as Boo Boo says a very good way of assessing the heart muscle.

I also agree with Michael's advice about not driving to the test yourself.

You don't know how you will feel after the test.

I hope all goes well for you.

I am SO happy for you they got your appointment moved so quickly - once it's done and they've discussed and analysed the resulting information, you'll have state of the art answers and those answers will help tremendously in getting a treatment regime in place, WOOT!!

And, take Michael's excellent advice to let someone else do the driving to/from.

I know this sounds odd but I'm SO excited for you and can't wait to hear what the results are!

Got yourself all a dither Fluffybee, now deep breath and think how important you are to be getting it done faster than we thought.

Bit greedy if you ask me, two in one week 😉

You know that old country saying

" You die if you worry you die if you don't so why worry "

You will be fine, after all you will be in the right place to have a bit of a heart race and you might even be lucky and get a handsome guy at your stress test and won't need the injection 👍🤣😂💖

Seriously though we will be thinking of you and hope all goes well.

Well what can I say !!!!! I am all of a dither, but the dithering has improved somewhat 🙄

All I can say is I must have been head hunted for our catchy clothing line, thought if they get me sorted I’d give them a few samples 😂😂

Well I could do with a handsome Dr sorting me out on Friday, at least it would save the NHS the cost of the stuff they inject, my heart would be racing away, trouble is I’d be in pain so would be grimacing, not a beautiful sight at the best of times let alone grimacing and sweaty!!!!!!!!! In pain that is Ellie Flump keep thy mind clean !!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for your message xxxx

What DO you think I was thinking 🤣🤣😜

Hope today's MRI went ok.

Good of them to let you have a couple of days off between scans 😝
