Almost a year since my H.A. and resulting 2 stents. I’ve had a regular mixed bag of chest discomfort since – I don’t use the word pain because I’m now familiar and can tolerate it. Mostly back aches sometimes with chest, neck, leg and arm tingles and occasionally slight shortness of breath - nothing severe and not all at the same time!
After 4-5 appointments with my GP and changing out some meds over several weeks - Ticagrelor to Clopidrogel (75mg), Ramopril to Candesartan (8mg) - I’m not really any better off. I also take Atorvastatin (80mg), Bisoprolol (10mg) and Aspirin (85mg)
I can’t see any pattern to this, I do a cardiac exercise class twice weekly and usually feel better afterwards, even if I didn’t feel too good beforehand so I’m assured that it’s not angina related.
All a bit confusing……is this familiar for anyone? Feedback appreciated, many thanks!

Wow not sure how your post did not get any replys but hope you are adjusting to those nasty meds. It is hard to tell which ones or if it's a combination. I too am struggling specifically the ticagrelor and asa. It's a very hard call when they supposedly are keeping you alive after HA and two stents but seem to be doing other damage such as the cough, palputations, shortness of breath and horrible stomach pains and diarhea. Some people have no problems and yet others really do not do well.
Hi Dale my stents were placed on the RCA so mild pain, tightness, hot festered type feeling are on my centre right side. Some of the side effects whether from over doing a hike or from the meds can go from mild to intense. My GP and Cardiologist say shortness of breath, chest pains and not feeling well get into emerg but i have been twice since the HA to our local hospital only to be sent home. This whole business of HA, stents, nasty meds and trying to feel normal again both physically and mentally is a struggle especially with Covid restraints all around us.
