I had a heart attack in Feb 2017. I have 1 stent and lifelong medication. I went to the hospital several months ago, but they said everything was ok. Why do I get these pains? Occasionally, they really DO hurt

I have been having short sharp stabbing pains under my left breast for several months
Hi I had heart attack last November and last few days I have had very sharp pain the same. When I was last taken to hospital with chest pain the cardiologist said if I could point to the pain it was muscular. It does help when I take my gtn spray and when I saw the cardiologist 2 weeks ago he has arranged a heart mri so I got app for 6th April but don’t think I’m going any time soon hospital is last place I want to be at the moment. I would mention it to your cardiologist gp or heart nurse. Wishing us all well and keep safe 🙏🏻❤️Xxx
I have this loads. Used to rush off to the A&E every time I had this sharp pain on the left side, as advised by the cardiac rehab nurse. I'd get checked out thoroughly, but then sent home because it wasn't another MI.
I eventually got referred to a gastroenterologist because of a persistent stomach complaint, which led to an endoscopy. It was only then that they discovered that the pain in my chest was caused by holes that were burnt into my stomach lining by all the medication I had been taking for my heart.
Wow! Thanks for the very helpful info ! I had heart attacks and a stent , I often get the same type of sharp pain in my chest and back. I was told it was unstable angina .
I am getting very bad burning pain in my stomach , no matter what I eat. It lasts all day . When Covid is eventually at bay , I’ll ask my GP to refer me for an endoscopy .The stomach pain is sometimes unbearable .
I get these also on and off For last 8 weeks hence my stress test today x
