Sad time

Did anyone see the intensive nurse after doing 48 hours, went to supermarket to get fresh fruit, but the shelves were stripped. If I lived in her town I would take my fresh vegetables to her. Come on Britain think about the people on the frontline, trying to keep our loved ones alive.

Would I want a nurse looking after me who had done a 48 hour shift? Why did she do a 48 hour shift? I think there’s more to that story.

I spoke with a carer who does home visits including basic nursing (dressings/catheters/etc) a couple of days ago. Loves the work but the stress of social distancing and not be able to get basics after a day of up to 12 hours was getting to her. But the selfish remain selfish! Grrr... 😠

There are some good people out there though. I spent yesterday afternoon talking to people in the neighbourhood (online) to arrange for someone to receive a food delivery. Lots of people helped. He Freddy selfish ones are the minority.
