I have been feeling very dizzy recently and generally unwell lots of palpitations when resting, GP changed atenolol to verapamil half securon sr. Yesterday ended up in A&E with chest pains they did the various tests no heart attack was sent home. Still feel exactly the same today! Have a GP appointment on Friday any advice would help thanks.
Blood pressure fine.
You might find it useful to ask for a recorder to track what is going on over a longer period of time. Do you drink about 2.5 litres of water a day?
Thanks for replying Ianc2 , I drink quite a bit not sure how much! I think it is the Atenolol came off it last weekend was ok after a couple of days GP put me on another med unfortunately they created other problems palpitations and high blood pressure so back on the atenolol and feeling awful. I have a cardiologist appointment on Wednesday and hoping he will suggest another med.
