When you're finished, tap Done.
The reason I chose the MedicAlert bracelet over the phone app is having been separated from my handbag in a car wreck - it took weeks for the bag to be found. Granted it was 1973 so no mobile but nowadays my mobile rides in my handbag. My husband keeps his in his rucksack or coat pocket (and he takes his coat off to drive, sets it atop the rucksack on the back seat).
My bracelet is on my wrist 24/7/365.
No reason not to use both
I gave up my BlackBerry when I retired - my ultra not-smart mobile barely holds a few stored numbers, lol, much less apps I can't even go online with it. I absolutely love that mobile - it doesn't take photos, won't go online, has very limited contact storage, and is never turned on unless I find my GTN isn't working and I need to ring for help.
Ftr, I'm not a techno-phobe, I was writing Fortran and Cobol in the mid-1970s. But I love being 'old school', a laptop is about as 'new-fangled' as I want to go these days.
For those who like apps I think it's a great thing. Just not for me.
I have used ICE for many years but seems that more people have heard about it now Hopefully I will never need to use ig.
