Pacemaker 1st check up

Hello. I am fairly new on the BHF side of things. Got my check up this morning 5 and a half weeks since the op. 3 weeks in developed a blood clot in my shoulder.Had 15 days of Dalteparin18,000 Which i hope is now ok. All arm swelling has gone down. Also while i am there, want to find out about the blood thinners they want to put me on. Had 2 letters about it all. But no one has spoke to me about the need to go on them Doctor at my surgery cannot understand why i need them. Has anyone else had the same experience please. Manyl Thanks Brian
