You've had stents recently, have you been assigned a cardiac nurse? That would be the person to ask about the nsaid.

If you don't have a cardiac nurse, consult your GP - when I have questions like yours (my latest was 'Can I take a decongestant with my beta blocker?'), I tell the desk staffer what the question is and within an hour I get a phone call or email back with great advice (in the case of the decongestant it was yes as long as I didn't take more than one 60mg tab per day).

As Sunny2day has said you really need to talk to a medical professional. Make sure you have a list of your medications to hand, both prescribed or not. Sometimes a good pharmacist is more on the ball that a GP because they are at the coalface more than GPs. Expanding on Sunnie's comment cold/flu remedies are generally not recommended if you are on any type of BP medication.

As well as talking to your Doc/cardio team you could try calling the pharmacist at the hospital where you had your stents. At the hospital I went to the number was on a leaflet with the bad of goodies I took home. They are really expert and very happy to offer advice.

I practice Yoga for backs and it has helped me and my back is less painful now. Also helps with balance and stress relief. Does not involve extreme positions but keeps the spine moving.

All my docs say no to anti- inflammatory meds. There is a cardiac risk plus bleeding risk especially if one is on anticoagulant. Having said that, there is an opinion from some docs that is which is the lesser of the two evils. It boils down to a quality of life issue in my opinion. Prob b good to see what your docs think. Im looking at a second knee surgery and have managed to stay off anti- inflammatories but docs are also paranoid about prescribing opioids too. I would much prefer some ibuprofen over a narcotic.
