Call your consultants office in a few days, they should be able to tell you. I had exactly the same as my consultant was on holiday a few days after the echo and I wanted to know as I was due to go away as well and needed to know for my insurance. Even if they don't have the letter they can access the results on their clinical portal. I also checked with my GP as well and he could see them.

If you have their name and office number, they should still be able to help. If the technician said nothing I wouldn't be overly concerned. I asked mine and she just said it all looked fine but gave no detail, consultant's secretary said more of less the same thing as well but added some medical statements for me to give to my insurers. If there is anything untoward you would be fast tracked. Sounds similar to me, my ECG also threw up an odd result and they needed the echo to see if it was an issue or not. God bless the NHS they are amazing!

We have all had to learn that patience is necessary. Getting anxious really does you no good This does not mean do nothing. Try and talk to the BHF nurse and/or your G P.

Your right I will try to relax and think if there was something very wrong they would probably contact me Take care xxx

When I had my echocardiogram I was actually in hospital, I knew the technician had seen something because I could sense it. I said to him “” you’ve seen something haven’t you? “. He replied yes. I didn’t ask him more because it wasn’t his place to go into detail. To be honest I think he was in shock after seeing a large Myxoma inside my heart 😉 rest assured you would know quickly if it was anything that needed immediate action.
