Stop worrying or you will make yourself ill!

As I have explained previously EF cannot be measured that accurately, maybe to 5%. The symptoms are more important than the actual figure and I understand you are asymptomatic.

Relax, wait for the nuclear scan and see what it shows...

I agree with Michael. I know it isn't especially helpful to hear anyone say 'Don't panic. Try not to worry...' but you're working yourself into a right state with all of this and it's not helping you one bit.

Do you sew, knit or crochet, do needlepoint or embroider, make candles - any kind of hobby craft that will take your mind temporarily off your worries? I can't get through the day calmly without my hobbies, they take me away with the making faeries for a wee while and every wee while relatively worry free is so helpful!

When is your nuclear scan, do you have a date yet?

'No one should face a health challenge alone' is written at the bottom of every HealthUnlocked email to our inboxes. So, I want to say to you:

I know you are terribly worried about what is/may be going on with your heart.

I know it is taking a toll on you physically and emotionally.

I know you are not alone in your worries - we're here for you, Yas, especially when the worries mount. You aren't going through this alone and hopefully posting and reading here helps you knock back a bit of the worry.

Reading? Yes, I used to love reading, especially detective stories. One of the side effects of having my peculiar set of heart conditions is occasional 'fuzzy brain' and it's worse when I'm stressing or tired - concentrating on working out 'whodunit' just isn't working for me lately:(

Oooh, sequins on kaftans, that sounds interesting! I've long admired sequin work but I have essential tremor and am not sure I could hit that bullseye reliably enough to do a bag or blouse much less an entire kaftan! Do you use 'sharps' or is there a special needle for sequin work?

Thank you sunnie2day no special needle but different beads and sequins need dif shape needles and I too love the detective stories sometimes I read a little bit of first pages then middle then end just as a shortcut then go back to beginning of story to find out the whole story I know sounds weird but do that when I’m lazy to read it all

I am SO glad to know I'm not the only reader who skips around a book! Sometimes I actually read the last chapter first then go back to the beginning.

I never used to need bookmarks until my heart began playing up last year - I'd start and finish all but the thickest books same day as started. But over the last year I've needed bookmarks - read a few pages then bookmark and come back later.

I've never been much of a 'dressing for dinner' sort of lady - I lean towards jeans and jumpers topped with a body warmer, lol, as I live in a mountain town. But I love-love-love sequin and beaded handbags and have made several beaded bags (antique and vintage style) to sell. I also used to do beadwork repair until the tremor got too trembly. I still have all my kit including a huge light box for transferring patterns onto the fabric.

Have you ever done sequinned and beaded bags?

I too like to dress casual only if go to parties will dress up I would love to see your handbags sound interesting I bet they were difficult but wonderful results at end

Selling those bags was so painful I never photographed any even though most of them were commissioned work and I knew building a portfolio was the right way to do things. But the entire time I was beading one I knew would have to say goodbye to it when I finished and it really was so sad. It really was like parting with treasure. My favourites were the ones with tassels or 'drips' - there really is something so luxurious about beaded bags with graduated 3-10in 'drips' off the end!

Do you have any photos of your kaftan work?

I will see if I have any old pics but I bet your work was really beautiful to look at it’s sad u never made one for yourself as a memory yes and I do believe u didn’t want to part maybe because sometimes people don’t appreciate the time and effort gone into making them

I kept telling myself I'd make one for me 'one of these days'. Never did and now those days appear to be over. I still have my sewing and embroidery (I do Madeira work), and crochet so it's not all bad:)

I hope you do find a snap of your sequin work, I'd love to see it!
