For a while now(12 months perhaps), i have experienced a tingle and slight numbness in my big toe. Normally, it's not such an issue. But, of late it has been hurting too.
Yep, i'll head to my GP when i can, but has anyone else any experience of this?
Cheers

As far as I'm aware, no, i don't have diabetes. However, i think i need to ask to be checked for this specifically. No, no cramps when walking, but at night whilst lying in bed.
I'm wondering if it's nerve damage. For the last few years, ive taken part in a charitable walk. My boots aren't great, and i always end up with huge blisters and the odd black toenail...
Hi I have had the same since my heart attack. My gp has referred me for an ultrasound scan on my foot and toe. She thinks it's a twisted nerve. If it's not then my private cardiologist was going to refer me to neurology not sure why. My scan is in august. It doesn't bother me but every few months I get a burning sensation between the big toe and the next one which is really painful. Xxx
Hi Biscuits. Yes! I had HA last June and have had various side effects from the cocktail of drugs I've been on, including numb and/or hypersensitive feet (and toes in particular). I narrowed it down to either the Ramipril or Bisoprolol as the most likely suspects, and asked my cardiologist if I could switch either of those for an alternative. He was reluctant to change the Bisoprolol, but has switched the Ramipril to Candesartan. This was only last week, so difficult to be sure, but last night I managed to cut my big toe nails for the first time in months!!
