my arrest was in the UK and ICD fitted in Sept last year. Took 9 months to get my licence back and now driving .ICDs are wonderful in that they give you so much confidence

good luck in your retirement

Hi . Lovely to hear your positive news. My husband had his fitted last Wednesday. We are both rather anxious, but I am sure that will go in time. My husband says he is conscious of his heart beating at night and it keeps him awake wondering if its ok. He is also worrying about it giving a shock I try to reassure him that it wont necessarily do that and if it does its doing its job. Its early days for us. Glad you are enjoying life.

With a icd it's like having a paramedic with you 24/7 so don't worry I have a monitor beside my bed which downloads each night to hospital if they notice anything wrong they will call me. Good luck😊
