Would walking football be a reasonable exercise for us? Says someone who hasn’t kicked a ball since children were young.

Yes, after all it is walking which is the most recommended exercise. It just has a bit of interest.

Walking is good exercise and has the advantage that you can stop if you get out of breath. As soon as there is an element of competition as in walking football, there is the possibility of doing too much,

I would discuss with your GP so that he/she can check your blood pressure and resting pulse rate.
