Hi I hope you don't mind me sharing some good news. Yesterday I had my first cardiologist appointment since my discharge from hospital last September. I also had my first echocardiogram results too. Brilliant news my valve leak hasn't got worse. I was so anxious about the appointment as well. For the meantime replacement surgery is on the back burner which means I can have a summer this year. I was in hospital all through July and August last year. I do wish my return to work had gone better but we can't have everything. Best wishes to you all x

Sounds promising! What happened with your return-to-work?

They wouldn't let me go part time or make any reasonable adjustments so it's see you at the tribunal😡. I am going to have the summer off to make up for last year😃
