Your aim should be to regain the weight gradually - to fast and you will gain fat and not lean muscle. A Mediterranean diet, just more of it, would be suitable. Base meals on brown rice, whole-wheat pasta or potatoes (preferably boiled or baked). Avoid too much fat and sugar as again they will cause you to gain fat. Muscle toning exercises would also be helpful.

I’m same height and only about 1lb heavier. I feel ridiculously light, but rehab thinks this is my ideal weight. I’ve been stuck at this weight since my diet changed ....think it’s the new normal no matter what I do. Maybe it’s better to get used to it?

I've got the same issue. Not an inch to pinch. I'm on a oil, salt and sugar free whole food plant base diet. I know that's a whole month full. Only problem for me is I have low HDL. My weight has been stable (64kg 175cm) for 3 years. Though I'm a little concern about a thin layer of fat around organs which shows low as well. Been trying to at a few extra calories with almonds... will see. I tried the protein powder but again the added sugar gives me night sweats. Once I removed the sugar and only get it from fresh fruit the night sweats completely stopped.

Iv got the inches to pinch , but it’s just loose skin. I was advised to eat nuts and find foods with good fats x

That's what I'm trying to do too. I soak half a cup of almonds overnight and remove the skin in the morning. Also been going to town with avocados hummus and do take flaxseed oil. If you find something else pls 🙏🙏 🙏 let me know.

See what advise Google comes up with . I think eating more small meals more frequently could help.

Hi Lynn, I’m like you, lost over stone in weight in three weeks after heart attack and stent, I think I have aged 20years, I look anorexic, I’ve just got so much wrinkly skin. Also my skin is not quite the colour it was, wonder if it’s the meds? I wonder if men get this problem, if so what do they do about it.

I’m type 2diabetic so watch what I eat, I’m ten weeks on now but still can,t put the weight back on, a lot of my clothes are just too big now.

I’m going to give eating nuts a try but as an asthmatic they make me cough. There are no easy answers are there ?
