Candestartan and Hemarroids.

Hi, I have been on Cadestartan for almost three months following ten years on Ramipril that my doctor took me off of due to severe dry coughing and runny nose, at first the Candestartan saw the coughing stepping but the nose was even more severe running, also nasal infection, and mysteriously I now have hemerroids that I have never had before, think I was less infected by side effects of Ramipril, has anyone else had all or some of these symptoms.

Hi Craneman. Well I'm on Candesartan and have been for many years. I also had hemorrhoids a few years back. But I have to say as far as I'm aware there isn't a link? Don't quite see how they'd be connected, given what Candesartan is for and what causes hemorrhoids? But if you're worried I guess ask your GP for reassurance? Good luck. Nic x

Thank you for your reply,on the side effects list it says skin irritation so that is what I think is the connection however, I wasn't to go back to Ramipril as my BP is all over the place on Canderstartan, it was more regulated on Ramipril.
