HI, i am 48 and seven years into menopause, brought on by having Ovaries removed, after having breast cancer and family history etc.

I have been reading up the problems that can be brought on after going into surgical menopause!!, i already have had a fracture in my back and been told i have Osteoporosis , but i am now worrying about Heart Disease, as i do get palpitations occasionally and now i think i am going to have a heart attack, do you think its something i should get investigated !

I received confirmation this week that my heart attack and now my SVT is a direct result of a spike in my menopause hormones. I'm 53 non smoker and don't drink. If in doubt or worried please get yourself checked out just for peace of mind if nothing else. I'm going through a natural menopause but I know surgical menopause is much worse.
