Hello,

Im 32 yeats female,I had pacemaker fitted last Tuesday, I need to know more information about inform the DVLA and insurance? Any one can help

Yes. You have to contact DVLA and let them know you have a pacemaker. There should not be a problem. You will get a letter giving permission to drive provided you keep to your regular pacing checks which everyone has. I have mention

I have mentioned it to my insurers but they have not been interested. DVLA have a good website which explains everything. And always take your pm card with you to show at an Airport and you will get a personal pat-down instead of going through the arch. I’ve had a pm for 10 years. You’ll soon forget you have it. Good luck.

Yup - I've just been through this too. No problem. DVLA are happy, insurers dismissive - just as @Eadaoin says.
