I am looking for travel insurance for my wife who has pre existing medical issues,but cant seem to find a reasonable quote,any ideas anyone ??

I have Bladder Cancer and Bradychardia (sinus) and a standard travel insurance package with my bank which accepted both and other conditions. Try Nationwide and Barclays or BIBA, British Insurance Brokers Association they are helpfull.

I joined a local Women's Institute group and then joined their group travel insurance policy with Open Travel. They don't ask medical questions. £195 for a year multitrip worldwide

There is a comparison site medicaltravelcompared.co.uk that searches a number of providers. You can fill in details of your conditions online. I'm sure they miss some insurers but they make a good starting point.

I have booked travel insurance with stay sure and found them very reasonable. Just answer all the questions and it will come up with a quote. I have has a stent and also 3 small TIA's. Good luck and enjoy the holiday.
