after angioplasty

9 months after angioplasty left arm is paining often is there any reason???... regularly taking medicines... is thr anybody having same pbm??? how did you managed???

Is the pain constant, does it come on at rest, does it come on after exertion? Does it hurt elsewhere? Do you get breathless? These are all questions a medical professional would ask.

As it is a Sunday you could ring 111, or your GP or the BHF nurses tomorrow. If you get seriously concerned then 999.

A friend had angina return (controlled by isosorbide mononitrate) twenty years after after angioplasty following major but unrelated surgery. Sometimes it can be that additional stents are required after less than a year.

thanks for ur kind response... from past one week he is having tooth ache..does tooth ache hurts arm???

It should not do but a tooth infection can spread to the heart if unlucky. Ring the dentist first thing tomorrow.

This is an interedting point you raise. I'm due an angiogram in a weeks time. Same as you mention, i often have a dull ache in my left arm and have toorhache also. I wondered myself, if the toithache was connected in anyway.
