Nt pro bnp raised

Hi

My Nt pro bnp test came back at 230ng/L range <100ng/L. Im waiting for results from an X-ray and Echo,( the cardio tech said she couldn't see anything worrying ) I had the test because of mild breathlessness on exertion, fatigue and multiple ectopics.

Does a "normal" echo rule out heart failure ? I'm concerned if nothing obvious shows up the abnormal result will be ignored. I'm female 63, normal bmi, don't smoke or drink alcohol and I'm active. Other health issues, hypothyroid, ulcerative colitis in remission.

Any info gratefully received.

Nobody have any info on the above test ?

Was this test offered on the NHS or did you have it done, privately?
