Elantran LA

Not posted for a while as being having a rough time lately but thought I would ask the questionand I`ve got the joy of another stress MRI to look forward to the depending on the results possibly my 6th angiogram in 7 years, such joy!!!.

Discharged from hospital yesterday after another A&E admission for unresolved angina type cardiac pain as usual, another lecture for not calling the emergency services earlier. Medication change from Isosorbide Mononitrate (Monomil XL) to Elantan LA 100mg daily, has anyone had experience of this drug? if so any problems?

It is just a different version of isosorbide mononitrate. After all these years they are probably hoping it will prove more effective in angina prevention.

Hi I found if I took Elantan at the same time as my blood thinners and blood pressure tablets at the same time gave me side face pain and teeth hurt earach and jaw ache i triad taking each one 20 mins apart and felt much better and the headaches disappeared
