isosobide Mononitrate
My Next prescription was changed to
Elantan
LA 50mg once daily. Can you tell me if there is any difference between the two brands that I should be aware of. This change of brands also happens with my other meds plus sometimes mixed brands in the same boxes.

Microvascular Disease / Syndrome X
I have tried taking
Elantan
LA 25 and it seemed to make me worse and brought me out in a red itchy rash all over, so I stopped it. I am waiting now for my GP to prescribe one of the other drugs mentioned.

When I took
Elantan
after my heart attack, it dropped my BP so dangerously low I had to stop it. They seem to assume tat if you had a heart attack, you musthave angina but I've had this breathlessness since around 1990.

Confused
He’s prescribed another medication called ranolazine on top of my
Elantan
and GTN spray in an attempt to manage the pain. I’m conflicted because if I went to the a&e every time I had chest pain i’d Be living there, and in any case if operating isn’t an option what can they do?

Breathless, painful joints, no energy
It has to be something I take on a morning which are TIcagrelor, Ramipril,
Elantan
(Isosorbide mononitrate) aspirin, and bisopralol plus furosemide that I've taken for 8 years. I tried leaving the ramipril until night in case it was dropping my BP too far but it made no difference.

Feeling sedated during night
Atovastatin, ranitidine, bisopralol, aspirin, rampril, ticagrelor,
elantan
. For 18 years I've also taken oxycodone every 3 hours for spinal pain. If it wakes me at night I write down the time, take a pre measured dose, wait 10 minutes and go back to bed.
