BHF gym facility at Russells Hall Hospital?

Hi I have been told there is a Bhf Gym Facility at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley does anyone know if this is correct? As the hospital is close to me? Thanks Stuart

Hi Stuart,I live in Dudley and the gym you are referring to is called action heart.I don’t believe it’s BHf .I think it’s a registered charity beacon status.Its an education and cardio rehab program with a fantastic gym.I believe it’s an invite only for the residents of Dudley and surrounding areas .ive started the education program and have been invited for a stress test and from this they will design a exercise program for my exact needs.I will get a 12 month free membership to use there gym and if I want to stay after 12 months there is a small monthly fee. actionheart.com hope this helps.

Hi, Many thanks for your reply I do live within the the Dudley borough and are currently waiting for a rapid access app at RHH for another echo so i speak to cardiology and ask about the action heart ♥ services and see if I can get a referral app, Once again Many Thanks for letting me know all the best take care.

You can speak to Russel hall or you can contact you’re local GP and he/she can also refer you.Just a word of warning though it may take a couple of months to get access to the gym.

thanks for your reply I've got a couple of rapid access apps at RUSSELLS HALL so I will ask cardiology if they can refer me.

I had a stent last year and can go the gym and Russell’s Hall. However I don’t just for the simple reason is I live near Quinton so it’s just a bit too far. It’s. good facility though and I did do my stress test and 3 sessions there
