Stress mri scan

I had a heart attack on the 13th april and had a stent fitted i am back to hospital on the 26th may for a stress mri scan and not sure what is going to happen if i can drive and what is going to happen

You have to ask your GP or cardiologist about driving. Usually it is two weeks but I know one person where it was five months as there were some complications. If you fail the stress test they will probably carry out further investigations.

If you’ve had a straight MR I before, it’s just the same. You have to lie still and take instructions about breathing etc. The addition of a stress test... you’ll have a drug put into one arm, and the pics are taken and you get the antidote in the other one, it’s pretty quick. My heart raced, which was a little unnerving, but they watch you v carefully, and it returns to normal v quickly.
