Stress MRI

Hello I had a stress MRI this morning Cannula in each arm then into the scanner.

I was surprised when the Radiographer started the injection of the Adenosine to say it took my breath away would be an under statement. It took about 30 seconds to get back control of my breathing, but other than that it was OK. I reckon the whole thing took about 30 minutes actually in the Scanner. All in all I think it was worth the discomfort to collect all the information that is available from a Stress MRI. I think to sum it up if I had to do it again tomorrow I would.

Regards

That's good...I am glad it was a success for you and that you felt it was wirthwhile. Did you get feedback today or have you got to wait for the results? X

Hi Jils

I have to wait for the results, on my last 2 letters GPs and mine the Consultant has said he will see me Personally at the Hospital as soon as the results are in. Sounds like a football match result !! The Consultant put stents in my LAD after it had been by passed, now he is looking at the profusion after the stents as it seems to have altered the rhythm of my Heart. The Radiologist commented on it this morning whilst doing the scan

I sound like I am dropping to bits but overall I reckon I am doing OK

regards

I always reckon that as long as I wake up each day then I'm doing OK but come the day I don't then it won't be my problem.

I agree if you don't wake up the alternative is not worth considering !!
