Stress cardiac MRI

Received a letter from the Royal Brompton few days ago and I have an appointment on the 12th of Feb and I have never had this test before and this will be my first time going to this hospital? Has anybody had this test before?? 🤔 Just bit worried about the stuff they inject in your arm last time I had something similar for an CMR I had a really weird reaction to the contrast??

Hi there. My neighbour had this test done a while back, it's like having the stress exercise treadmill test but with no treadmill, I also had an allergic reaction to the iodine after a while I started to get a rash on my stomach gladly I was still in the hospital when it started to happen. Hope everything gose to plan on the 12th for you. Take care

Ah ok so basically like exercising without any exercise, that's gona feel odd, oh ok wow that's awful that you had a rash! Glad you was still in hospital when it happend x

Is that the same test as a myocardial perfusion ( not sure if I have spelt it correctly) as I had one of them in 2022. Although the test lasted for only about 6 minutes I didn't think much to it as it was a very weird experience for me personally. Anyway whatever test you are having you will be in good hands and I wish you well

When I received appointment for the stress test at Royal Brompton I requested in advance if I could do the test on the Treadmill instead of injection. They agreed. They are very good at the Brompton.

Give them a call and tell them what happened previously. They can check whether it's the same stuff.
