Hi guys any one ever been on Clopidogrel
Clopidogrel: Hi guys any one ever been... - British Heart Fou...
Clopidogrel
Personally I have not but am sure many have. It would be useful to expand your question explaining why you have been prescribed and what your concern, if any, are.
I have taken it now for over two years as I have mild ischemic heart disease. Apart from longer bleeding if you cut yourself and a few more bruises absolutely no issues
I have been taking it for just over a month and apart from bruising slightly worse than usual I haven’t noticed any issues
I had my Angiogram in January and 4 days later I had a stroke They would not associate the stroke with the angiogram but well .... come on.
I was eventually (after 4 days on a 'we don't know what to do with her ward} sent to a stroke ward in a different hospital after an MRI showed I had a stroke.
On discharge I was put on Clopidogrel to help thin the blood and was recently told by my cardiologist that I am likely to be on this for life.
It doesn't cause me any problem and take a tablet a day with food, I tend to take it with breakfast in the morning with my Bisoprolol.
