Not direct but yes as plavix is know offender to increase stomach acids so ots ur acids which are causing bitter taste. Take 15/30 mg lansprozole in morning before breakfast

Hi Holywell bay, you're quite near me, I have been taking clopidogrel for over 3 years, and haven't noticed a bitter taste with them, I also take a tablet for an ulcer among others, which has now healed to keep down stomach acid so that maybe some of the cause, speak to your GP.

I have been taking clopidogrel for 19 years and have never experienced any problems with taste. Are you taking any vitamins?

Yes I take Vit D and magnesium

I looked this up. Both supplements can leave a metallic or bitter taste. I take both and don't have a funny taste. Google these vitamins and taste. Could possibly be the vitamins

Hi Trishe, I have been on Clopidogrel for just over two years along with other meds and vitamins, also B12 injections, but have not had anything like you are describing. Sorry I can’t help.
