Glad it all went well. I found sitting in the chair more comfortable while in hospital, and yes the sleep deprivation is torture, when I got home still had problems sleeping, my GP gave me sleeping tablets which I only used for 2wks what a difference to my recovery , so don’t suffer ask they will give them to you. Hope you recover quickly and home soon. Take care Kaz

Oh dear Phil, nothing worse than lack of sleep, will you be given some sleeping pills in hospital I wonder?

Pleased to hear that you are more comfortable in a chair today. Keep your chin up. xxx❤️💕❣️

Hi Wendy,

There was an article in the paper last weekend saying that people who had heart ops in the afternoon did better than those whose ops were in the morning, as the timing 'synchs up with the body’s circadian rhythm'. So let's hope moving to the afternoon is a benefit for you. Thinking of you. Let us know how it goes and best wishes.

Love Margaret

Well done! Stay happy and you'll recover much faster. I remember feeling quite elated and pleased with myself with the thought I'd got through the op. Take it easy and rest as much as is possible.
