Very latest op date info

Hi All,

I saw my GP yesterday who diagnosed a virus so no need for antibiotics or a blood test. She phoned my surgeon to relay diagnosis. Heard today that my op is rescheduled for 11th Nov so go in on 10th. Plenty of time to shake off this bug and hopefully stay healthy. So relieved that I don’t have to wait very long.

Hi that is good. To get rid your bug make some chicken soup with lots of garlic, leeks, pearl barley and thyme and rosemary works wonders. I often make it when we have a cold. All the best, Anke

Having rushed to get everything prepared for Christmas beforehand, I can take it easy and get better. Started a jigsaw puzzle and writing the peal entries in the church belfry book in calligraphy. Before you ask, no I don’t ring I just write about it.

I’m certainly having a more relaxing few days. I live in the Chilterns so am blessed with some beautiful autumnal walks with my dog, Boris. The fresh air will clear out the old tubes!
