A 74 year old - had 4x CABG in 1999, cardiac arrest in 2013, now equipped with a couple of stents and an IC , is about to go to Rome and Florence. Any advice about a sensible and reasonably priced travel insurance company would be greatly appreciated,

Hi Dickielex, I use staysure myself, over 50 and cover medical conditions. There is a page on the BHF website giving information on insurance companies

Hi I use insurewith. com

Hello there - here's a link to a list on our website of travel insurance companies our supporters have said are sympathetic to people with heart conditions. It's usually worth contacting a few of them and seeing who gives the best cover at the right price.
