I use a prescription of Desonide cream 0.05%. Works very well. I hope you have a Rheumy or Dermy or GP who will prescribe it. Also, a way around prescriptions would be to carefully use a coal tar shampoo on the spot and wash it off. You'd read the ingredients on the shampoo to find coal tar in the dandruff/eczema/psoriasis shampoo area. And I wonder if any of these other shampoos would work. Naturally you'd be careful not to get them into your eyes. I use the coal tar shampoo on my eyebrows as this is the only place I seem to have left that gets psoriasis. Strange, but true.

Recently on this site someone recommended a cream called Sorion, I thought as I'm in the middle of a flare up what the hell, I'll try anything. WOW what a difference, The inflammation has gone, its not red and angry, its stopped flaking and its all natural products. I am so impressed with it. You can buy it on Amazon or get it directly from the makers in Germany. To the person who put it on this site thank you so much

When I first had the kin problem I had a small crust form on my scalp line. I made the error of using the strong creams and the GP advised me to not use the creams and now I wish I had taken that advice as the creams thin the skin. Now I use good skin moisturizers and that seems to keep me clear although I have extensive scars caused by the thinning of the skin over the last thirty years

Have extensive joint damage now and I have a GP appointment tomorrow as I am developing trigger finger on both hands.

Try using good quality shower moisturisers. and hand cleansers, try not washing the affected areas to much, all you do is dry out the skin. There is a good front page on microsoft front page on this problem for normal people, it is well worth reading

Using chemical free face wash/moisturizer. I started using the anti-age line from Arbonne and it's been going pretty well. I've also found that attitude works really well, too. Especially on days where you're feeling so absolutely done with psoriasis a small breeze could knock you down. Someone staring at you or asking insensitive/ridiculous questions? Just stare at them til they get the picture. Or answer their insensitive/ridiculous questions loud enough that others can hear you compliment their wonderful manners and people skills. It's the little things in life that can beat that awful self-conscious feeling far far away.
