Merry Christmas to you too. Hope you had a nice day. Our day turned out much better than I’d thought it would. My son who was going away cancelled, so he shopped & cooked the most delicious roast beef. My goodness was it good. We started off at our local pub. The atmosphere was so good half the villagers were there. So a day that I was dreading actually turned out to be a great day. My husband did get emotional but luckily my son didn’t see.

The three of us sat down and watched Gavin & Stacy. I don’t know if any of you watched it. We found it really disappointing.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day! I love to hear about people who didn't expect something but received even better than they could have imagined. Hope you will always hold the memory of today close to your heart.

No, Haven't heard of Gavin & Stacy. What is it about? I find many of them disappointing anymore....

it’s a program that started 17yrs ago. It’s set in Wales. It’s both funny & emotional. Yesterday is meant to be the last one ever. I didn’t find it funny or emotional. Wondered what others thought?

Predictable! Was nice to see a new G&S but not worth the hype. Dawn was always beautiful but has had so many fillers she looks like she’s had an allergic reaction! Hold the saucer of milk, not getting catty, lol. The day was as expected but glad it’s over now and nearly finished boxing tree and all the decs/lights up for next year. Work tomorrow. So glad to read that people had a better day than anticipated. I’m eagerly finishing off the alcohol and nuts so I can make a New Year’s resolution!!! Yeah right. Maybe if I tell myself to do it in my dad’s memory I might stick to it better. Take care everyone. ‘Tidy’ 🦊x
