Are there any Behcet's specialists out there in the UK?

I know there are so called centres of excellence in england 4 centres. Ask at the Behcets society phone line.

I emailed that very question to the society two days ago as i am recently diagnosed and got this answer yesterday: The Centres of excellence are at

St Bartholomew's Hospital. London; Birmingham University Hospital and Aintree University Hospital, Lliverpool

Hi yes there are ask the Behcets society also there is a centre of excellence now at The Royal London Hospital with Prof F Fortune

There are other specialists in Behcets other than Birmingham , Liverpool and London depending on where you live. Leeds for example is one of the longest established clinics, and one of the first to use a multi -disaplinary approach.
