Just wanted to check in with the community, after 5-6 years of diagnosis on my most recent check with a COE I was told I had the above and its current state was “settling disease”, and “mild”, low rumbles generally with the Behcets. I’m pretty tired generally. Im on colchicine but have been pointed to azathioprine. Having had a bit of time since being told that, I was given a 2 month recall and initially agreed to start but subsequently checked the guidelines and couldn’t see why steroid orally or ocular implant (I understand topical doesn’t help posterior disease) wasn’t tried first and why it has to go direct to this. I’ve tried to ask the question and also wondered why potential tests oft scan, angiography etc have not yet been used to establish the extent of what’s going on. Any thoughts or experience to share?
