Contact lenses

Hi,

I had uveitis for the first time in April. Steroids cleared it and then it came back in one eye. I haven't worn my contact lenses since. Fingers crossed its settle for now. Just wondering if going back to contact lenses may irritate my eyes or if they have no effect. What are your experiences please? I only used to wear them a few times a week.
