Does anyone have any information on the 2 other vaccines for Behcets sufferers. Are they as safe as the Pviser vaccine

I have edited this post, since first posting, to ensure there is no misunderstanding.

At the recent International Society for Bechet’s Disease (ISBD) online-meeting, held on Saturday 23rd January 2021, there was consensus that all currently authorised vaccines are suitable for Behçet's patients. An agreed statement will appear hopefully within the week. Further, from the statistics presented from various nations it indicated favourable [ie. no worse comparatively] outcomes for Behçet's patients who have succumb to COVID-19. It was most encouraging to hear. Issues as age, comorbidity, drugs being taken etc can increase the risk to any patient.

For the avoidance of doubt, everyone (in our community) must continue to take extreme caution regarding COVID-19; and particularly if you have been categorised in the Extremely Vulnerable Category by your respective clinicians (which could be for a number of reasons). COVID-19, just like Behcet's, does seem to act unpredictably in individuals.

Thank you so much for your reply. This has put me at ease now for when my turn comes to have the vaccine.

Thank you for answering me. I feel a lot more confident now & will just have to sit & wait my turn for the vaccine. Stay safe & hopefully you will stay well. xx
