Nasty lesions when Drs made me lower drug dosages. I suffered and made everyone around me miserable too.

Oh my goodness, and I thought some of my wounds were bad. Did that start off as a blood vessel bursting? From the photo it looks like it has a purplish edge to it. I was told this was a sign of pyoderma gangrenosum and that it can come as a result of Behçet’s Disease. If you haven’t already done so it would be worth checking out with a dermatologist. As you said we do become experts in wound management. Cheers Lesley

They started out much smaller & only on my legs. Erythema nodosum lesions. I advanced to getting them on my abdomen elbows neck & face. After 5 years the instances are far & few between but still a BEAST. Heating pad. Chlorhexidine antiseptic cleanser topical Neosporin. Save $ on bandages unscented panty lines cut to fit with antibiotic ointment wrapped with coban ( sticks to itself without tape or clips)

We can always learn off each other, I didn’t realise what Coban wrap was - and you find it handy? Always on the lookout to save $$$. Cheers Lesley
