Yea, also depends on the amount of moisture in the area,sweat etc. I keep rubbing ointment on my ulcers as when they crack and become inflamed you can get bacterial infections.

I had white scarring but mine are ugly, weeping and bleeding. Sometimes they are very red. The exact location may make a difference.

Let us know if you relief and/or healing.

Oh you poor thing, feel for you. Seems to have settled after a week or so been put on colchicine and upped steroids xx thanks for caring
