Restless legs, Behcets and diet

I posted on here a while ago about restless legs. Just sharing this as I think I may have discovered the reason. I attach a link relating to salicylates in food. This gives a list of foods that contain this, low to high. And blow me it's worked for me! The website explains the effect this has on the system - of course the dreaded anti-inflammatory. Hope this helps someone else.

Hi Sam.

Not read the link yet but will. I found the answer to my restless leg was magnesium supplementation. Stopped it totally.

Hi

I also don't eat salicylates and its incredible the difference it has made to my own symptoms.

Glad it's working for you also.

Tony told me about this article you have posted, thanks alot.

Definitely going to read it , all amendments that you can make in diet and exercise make a real difference to the amount of flare ups or length of flare ups in your symptoms I have found.

It's particularly useful for someone like me who is pre diagnosis and hasn't got the medication to rely on .

Not what you're looking for?
