Hi everyone,
I want to thank all of you that have liked my posts.
So many of you are following me. I hope I can continue to provide good answers, advice and support to anyone I may be able to help.
Sometimes, just reaching out to someone, whether welcoming new comers or a short note of sympathy to someone suffering - can be moral support.
I have had almost every rotten thing Neuro BECHET'S can throw at me. But I don't "know it all" by any means. I am just a patient, like most of you.
After my diagnosis, I learned to get very good at research and taught myself to read at a medical level.
I am constantly looking for new research. I only use well known medical universities, top researchers and doctors in the BECHET'S and vascculitis fields. I look for large studies of human subjects. ("Mouse Models" and "In Vitro"studies, are okay - IF you are a mouse or live in a test tube.)
I am happy to answer any questions I can in open forum or private message. Or help any one with research as time permits.
I encorage all of you, if you see a post with NO replies, if you can, please reach out and welcome a new comer. Or offer a friendly note of support to someone suffering. (Even if you can't " fix their problem"). Many people are just grateful someone read their post and just said, "Hi." Sometimes, that helps so much!
So no one ever feels ignored and alone, let's try to set a goal, to leave no post or patient unanswered! If you don't see a reply, please make your's the FIRST post, to say, "Hi, I am, (your name), welcome. Or "I am sorry you don't feel well. I know someone will come along and answer your question. I just wanted you to know you are not alone."
I wish all of you happiness and good health,
Cindy
