Fever with flare up

Does any behcets suffered have bad fevers when their having a flare up ?bad enough to have to get up at night to change night clothes and bedding?

Yes that happens to me and steroids make it worse.

Thank you .I haven't been on steroids for a year now but still have it.it comes at the same time as my other symptoms flair up x

Think it's to do with the inflammation which is present in a flare up. It's horrible, Im sweating all the time at the moment which is embarrassing and uncomfortable. X

I'm with u on that one , it's terrible . Wet through I usually feel totally drained of energy too

I get terrible sweats, especially night sweats. Thought it was menopause at first but now know it the behcet's.

Yes, awful drenching night sweats. A steroid injection has currently stopped them in my case.

Oh yes...for years. Always every month, at "that time" along with a migraine. Temp over 100 and struggle to get it down. Resorted to cold showers etc, only for it to shoot straight back up again. This resulted in me having a seizure in 2011 whilst having a migraine with temp etc. Can't take anti-inflammatories so good old paracetomol not strong enough. I was finally diagnosed with Behcets just a year ago. I am now taking 150mg of Azathioprine daily and it has stopped the migraines, temperatures and everything else that went with it. I do know it was triggered by my monthly cycle too. Hope this helps. Keep posting how you get on.

Yes, my flare ups tend to feel like the flu, but even worse. The fever tends to be around 39 and stays like that for at least a week. The aches, shivers and terrible body pains are the worst part (I also get ulcers in my mouth, throat, sickness, joint pains) generally bed bound for around 2 weeks. Hope you feel better soon 😔 xxx

I definitely get night sweats but haven't yet worked out a pattern... hmm will take this on board..thanks
