HELP ME!!!!

I'm looking all over the web. I can barley find any information about folks diagnosed with breast cancer and bechets diease. If their are others on this site in the same situation as me or have been can you please message me or comment.

Hi Jennifer,

I've had BD since 1979, and was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma stage 1 in my right breast in 2009. I had a lumpectomy and my lymph nodes were clean so I didn't have chemo, but I had radiation treatments for 6 weeks. I took daily Arimidex (anastrazole) for 5 years and now I'm off all cancer treatments. I just had another mammogram and ultrasound a couple of months ago, and everything's still okay

It's not an easy situation to go through. You really feel like "now what???" when you get hit with cancer on top of dealing with BD. But if you have BD, you're already a strong warrior, and trust me -- you'll get through this.

I have a couple of articles that you can share with your oncologist when you're ready to look at them. Let me know.. right now you're probably still in shock. Hang in there, I know what it's like.

I'm all for the articles Joanne Z. Please let me know where I can read them. I've already started chemotherapy treatments. I feel like a walking case study.
